Læs siden på dansk Each connector consists of a number of tools, for example fetching a balance or creating a line in the daily journal. On the connector’s page in the portal, you can see which of them are switched on for your organization. An administrator can switch them on and off. Three layers decide what a user can do:
  1. The organization: the tools that the connector’s page shows as switched on. This applies to all users.
  2. The user: the user’s access level or own list under Team. It can only make the selection smaller, never larger.
  3. The connection: for Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Dinero and Business Central, an administrator can lock a connection to one company. The tools that cannot be limited to one company are then hidden for everyone who uses that connection. See Company lock.
A user’s AI only sees the tools that are switched on in every layer. The price is the same no matter how many tools are switched on.

The tools on the connector’s page

Open a connector you have bought and choose the Tools tab. The Tools in <connector> block shows all of the connector’s tools grouped by area, for example Customers, Invoices or Daily journal, and how many are switched on, for example 23 of 25 switched on.
  • An administrator has a switch next to each tool. If you switch a tool off, it disappears for everyone in the organization, including users with Full access.
  • A member sees for each tool whether it is On or Off, but cannot change it. It says Only administrators can change which tools are switched on.
  • The change takes effect within a few seconds. A conversation that is already open can still show the old list. Start a new conversation to get the updated one.
  • A tool you have switched off stays switched off, even if you cancel and later buy the connector again.
  • The list shows all tools, including those a company lock hides. The switch does not turn a tool on for a locked connection if the tool cannot be limited to one company.

New tools need activation

When Consile releases a new tool on a connector you have already bought, it is switched off for you until an administrator activates it.
  • On the connector’s page, the box N new tools since you bought <connector> appears with the button Activate all N, for example Activate all 6. You can also switch them on one at a time with the switch.
  • New tools are marked New and with the date they were released.
  • Under Overview, administrators see a banner, for example 6 new tools are waiting for activation in Uniconta, with the button See tools.
  • If you buy a connector after a tool was released, the tool is switched on from day one.
  • Once a new tool is activated, users get it through their access level. A user on Read only only gets new tools that read. A user on Custom only gets it when you add it to the user’s list. See Custom access.
Example: on October 7, 2026, Uniconta got six daily journal tools (two that read and four that write). If you bought Uniconta before that date, your AI can use the same 19 tools as before until an administrator activates the new ones. See Uniconta.

If a tool is missing

If your AI says a tool is not enabled for your user, it is not an error, and nothing has been changed. The message begins, for example, like this: “This tool is not enabled for your user on uniconta …”. Ask an administrator to:
  1. check on the connector’s page that the tool is switched on, and
  2. check your access level or your list under Team.
Then start a new conversation. Getting more tools switched on costs nothing extra. If your AI says instead that the connection is locked to a company, for example “This connection is locked to <company>, and <tool> cannot be limited to one company, so it is not available here.”, the tool cannot be used on that connection while it is locked. See Company lock and Troubleshooting.
