# Get started

> From login to the first answer in your AI in four steps. Start on the free edition, or buy the Consile Studio membership or a single connector.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/quickstart.md)*

This guide takes you all the way from an empty account to your AI answering
questions about your own figures. You need a Consile account and Claude or
ChatGPT. Custom connectors are available on every Claude plan. Claude Free gives
only one custom connector, so for more Consile MCPs you need Pro, Max, Team or
Enterprise. In ChatGPT it requires Developer mode. See
[Connect ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md).

A new organization starts on [the free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md). It
costs 0 DKK and gives one user, 100 tool calls a month and every system in the
catalogue except CVR. So you can connect a system and use it right away, without
paying. If you need more, you can buy
[the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md) or a single connector. See
[Membership or single connectors](#membership-or-single-connectors).

> [!TIP]
>
> The portal opens in English the first time, so the buttons match this guide. To
> switch to Danish, click the globe icon at the top right, and choose **Dansk**
> under **Language**. See
> [Language and currency](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/log-in.md#language-and-currency).

> [!NOTE]
>
> If your company is already a Consile customer, do not create a new
> organization. Ask your administrator to invite you under **Team** and give you
> access. See [Team, users and access](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md).

**1. Log in, and accept the terms**

Log in to the [portal](https://app.consile.ai). The first time without an
invitation, you create a new organization and become its administrator. See
[Log in to the portal](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/log-in.md).

The free edition is created once you have accepted Consile's terms. You do
that the first time you click the button on a card under **Connectors**: the
dialog starts with the **Terms** step. Tick the box for the terms, and click
**Accept and continue**. You are only asked again if the terms are updated.

Until then, the cards show a price and the **Try 7 days free** button, and the
dialog continues to **Choose a plan** after the terms. If you do not want to
buy the system on its own, close the dialog there, and reload the page after a
moment. If the cards still show a price, reload again a little later.

> [!TIP]
>
> The cards for the systems that are included say *In the free edition, 100
> calls/month*, and the button is called **Connect**. The edition's one user
> licence is given to you.

**2. Connect your account**

Click **Connect** on the card for, for example, **Google Search Console**, or
open the system's page and click **Connect now**. There is no payment, because
the system is included in the free edition.

How you give Consile access depends on the system: a login with the provider
(for example Google), a form in the portal where you paste a key or a login
from the system (Uniconta, Billy and Ordrestyring), or app approval in
e-conomic.

The data connectors can only read. The write connectors (for example e-conomic
and Uniconta) can also create and change content, but only behind
[guardrails](https://docs.consile.ai/en/essentials/actions-and-guardrails.md). Consile stores the access
encrypted. Your AI never sees it.

Details in [Connect your account](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-your-account.md).

> [!TIP]
>
> If you connect Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Dinero or
> Business Central, an administrator can lock the connection to one company.
> It is optional. See [Lock a connection to one company](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md).

> [!TIP]
>
> The system shows as **Connected** on its page in the portal.

**3. Add the connector in your AI**

The system's page has the **Add it to your AI assistant** card. Choose your
AI assistant, and copy the connector's address, for example
`https://mcp.consile.ai/gsc/mcp`.

In Claude Free, Pro and Max: open **Customize → Connectors**, click
**+ Add → Add custom connector**, and paste the address. Choose
**Register automatically** under **OAuth client**, and log in with Consile. On
Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector under
**Organization settings → Connectors**. If you use Claude Code, choose
**Claude** in the card. The command for Claude Code is below the steps. If you
use ChatGPT, follow [Connect ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md).

The full walkthrough is in [Connect Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Each MCP is its own named connector in your AI with only its own tools. You
> add each connector's own address. Connecting one does not automatically
> connect the others.

**4. Ask your AI**

Start a new conversation with the connector switched on, and try, for example:

> *"Which search terms brought the most clicks to my website in the last month?"*

> *"Compare the last 28 days with the period before: what has improved?"*

On the free edition, the calls count toward the 100 calls a month. When they
are used up, your AI is told, and the limit resets at the start of the next
month. See [The free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md).

## Membership or single connectors

Only an **Administrator** can buy. All prices are per month excl. VAT, and there
is no commitment.

### The Consile Studio membership

The membership gives every system in the catalogue, CVR included, and lifts the
limit of 100 calls. The price follows the number of users and companies, not the
number of systems, and starts at 349 DKK/month excl. VAT.

**1. Find the card on Overview**

At the bottom of **Overview** is the **Buy Consile Studio** card with the price
for you.

**2. Review and confirm**

Click **See and buy**. The dialog shows the amount, and whether there is a
free trial. Confirm with **Buy the membership**.

You give colleagues the membership licence afterwards under **Team**. Each extra
user costs 174.50 DKK/month excl. VAT. See
[The Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md).

### A single connector

Systems that are not included in the free edition, for example CVR, you buy on
their own. The card under **Connectors** shows the price, for example CVR at 99
DKK/month excl. VAT, and the **Try 7 days free** button.

**1. Choose a plan and pay**

Click **Try 7 days free**. Go through the **Choose a plan** and **Confirm and
pay** steps, and pay through Stripe. The first 7 days are free: you register a
payment card, but the first payment is only taken when the free trial ends. If
you cancel before then, you pay nothing.

> [!TIP]
>
> After payment you land on **Subscription activated**, where the connector's
> address is shown. As the buyer, you automatically get access to the
> connector as the user included in the price.

**2. Connect and add**

Connect the account, and add the connector in your AI as in steps 2 and 3
above. CVR has no account to connect and works as soon as the purchase is
confirmed.

See [Buy a connector](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/buy-a-connector.md) and
[Pricing & payment](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/pricing.md).
