# The Consile Studio membership

> One monthly membership with access to every system in the catalogue, priced per user and per company. Price, users, companies, own connectors and the switch from single connectors.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/portal/medlemskab.md)*

Consile Studio is a monthly membership. It gives access to every system in the
catalogue without you buying them one by one. The price follows the number of users
and the number of companies, not the number of systems. There is no commitment. All
prices are per month excl. VAT.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Consile Studio** is the name of the membership. **Studio** is also the area in
> the portal where you build own connectors and create customers. It appears in the
> menu with the label **Beta**. See [Studio](https://docs.consile.ai/en/studio/introduction.md).

## Price

| | DKK | EUR |
| - | - | - |
| Base price (first user and first company) | 349 DKK | €45 |
| Each extra user | 174.50 DKK | €22.50 |
| Each extra company | 349 DKK | €45 |
| Each extra own connector beyond the included ones | 49 DKK | €6.50 |

The membership is billed in the currency your account already uses with Stripe. If
the account has no currency yet, the market you have chosen in the portal is used.
See [Worked examples](#worked-examples) at the bottom of the page.

## What is included

* Every system in the catalogue, including CVR and Business Central (early access).
Systems that Consile makes available only to selected customers are not included.
* New systems that are added to the catalogue are included automatically.
* No limit of 100 calls as in [the free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md). Fair use
applies as it does for everyone else. See [Usage](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/subscription.md#usage).
* Own connectors in Studio. See [Own connectors](#own-connectors).

A system the membership covers cannot be bought individually on top. In
[Connectors](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/marketplace.md), the card says *Included in your membership*
instead of a price.

## Users

* A user is a person with the membership licence. One licence covers every system in
  the membership.
* The first user is included in the base price. Each extra user costs half price,
  174.50 DKK or €22.50.
* An administrator gives the licence on the person's page under
[Team](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md) with **Give the licence**. If that adds a paid user, the
portal shows the amount, for example *+174.50 kr/mo.*, and asks you to confirm
before anything is invoiced. The amount is billed pro rata from today.
* The access levels still apply per person. A colleague on **Read only** or
  **Custom** keeps their level.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If a person has their own access to a system that you have also bought
> individually, that access is kept when the membership licence is removed. It is
> then billed separately, so the subscription can go up. The portal shows the amount
> and asks for an extra confirmation: **Remove the licence and raise the
> subscription**.

## Companies

A company is the business that an agreement's data belongs to. In
[Studio](https://docs.consile.ai/en/studio/customers.md) it is called a customer, typically a client of an
accountant.

* The first company is included in the base price. Each extra company costs full
  price, 349 DKK or €45.
* The count is the larger of two numbers: the number of customers you have created
in Studio, and the number of connected agreements in the system where you have the
most. Only systems in the membership count. Agreements for your own company count
  toward the second number.
* A customer can have one agreement per system. If a customer has both e-conomic and
Shopify, it is still one company.

If you have, for example, 20 connected agreements in e-conomic, that is at least 20
companies, even if the agreements do not belong to a customer in Studio.

### Create a customer in Studio

**1. Open Customers**

Go to **Studio** and choose **Customers**. Click **New customer**.

**2. See the price**

Type the customer's name. Above the button, the dialog shows what the customer
costs, for example *+349.00 kr a month from today. The rest of the current
period is prorated on the next invoice.* If it is the first customer, it says
*The first customer is included in your subscription.*

**3. Create the customer**

Click **Create customer**. The customer costs from today. There is no free trial
on a new customer.

Only administrators can create customers.

* A deleted customer is not credited. The dialog says how long it stays on the
subscription: *The customer is paid for through the current period. It stays on
the subscription until \<date>, and the next invoice is without it.*
* If you create a new customer in the same period, it reuses the slot: *No change
to the bill: the slot is paid for until \<date>.*

See [Customers](https://docs.consile.ai/en/studio/customers.md) for how an agreement is linked to a customer.

### One more agreement in a system

Under the membership, there is no button to add an agreement on the system's page.
Instead, the **Connections** card says:

*The membership covers this system. One more company costs full price under the
membership, and we will set it up for you if you write to us.*

Write to [support@consile.dk](mailto:support@consile.dk). The same applies if you
want to get rid of an agreement: *One company fewer changes what the membership
costs, so write to us and we will remove the agreement and lower the amount.* If you
have an agreement that is not connected yet, you connect it yourself with
**Connect the free agreement**.

## Own connectors

* Each paid user has 3 own connectors included. They are personal and cannot be
  borrowed by a colleague.
* Each extra company adds 3 more to a shared pool for the organization.
* Own connectors for AI assistants and AI bots are counted together.
* Deactivated own connectors do not count.
* Beyond the included ones, an administrator can buy more for 49 DKK or €6.50 each
a month. The price is shown before the connector is created, for example
*+49.00 kr a month from today, prorated. It goes on the membership.*
* A member cannot buy more. The portal says that an administrator can buy more or
  share one with you.
* If you delete or deactivate a bought connector, the rest of the period is not
credited. If you create a new one in the same period, it reuses the slot.

See [Own connectors](https://docs.consile.ai/en/studio/own-connectors.md) and [AI bots](https://docs.consile.ai/en/studio/ai-bots.md).

## Buy or switch to the membership

The membership is bought from **Overview** in the portal. Only administrators can
buy or switch. For a member, the button is gray with the text *Only administrators
can change the subscription - contact your administrator.*

> **The card at the top**
>
> *Consile Studio costs the same or less for you* is shown only when the
> membership costs the same or less than the subscriptions it replaces. Click
> **See and switch**, and confirm with **Switch to the membership**.

> **The card at the bottom**
>
> **Buy Consile Studio** is shown when the membership costs more for you than
> today, for example on the free edition. Click **See and buy**, and confirm with
> **Buy the membership**.

Both cards show both amounts: what you pay today and what the membership costs.
Under **Priced on** is the number of users and companies the price is calculated on.
The amounts are checked again when you confirm. If they have changed in the
meantime, nothing happens, and the portal shows the new figures.

### What happens to subscriptions and connections

* The subscriptions for single connectors that the membership covers are replaced.
The dialog says so: *No connection is broken and you do not have to connect
  anything again.*
* Subscriptions for systems the membership does not cover continue unchanged.
* If a bought system afterwards sits on the same subscription as the membership,
the **Subscription** card on the system's page says *Billed together with
  Consile Studio*.
* Everyone with full access today gets the membership licence. A colleague whose
access has been lowered to **Read only** or **Custom** keeps their level and does
not get the licence automatically. AI bots are not users and do not count toward
  the number of users.
* If the account does not have a payment card, the purchase happens in Stripe
Checkout for 1 user. You get the licence yourself with the purchase. Colleagues
are assigned afterwards on Team at half price.

If you come from the free edition, the free edition is repriced to the membership
if the account has a payment card. Otherwise you buy the membership in Stripe
Checkout, and the free edition stays alongside it at 0 DKK.

In some cases the switch cannot be made from the portal, for example if a payment
is missing, or if a subscription covers both systems in and outside the membership.
The portal says why, and what you need to do.

### Free trial

* 7 days free when you buy the membership in Stripe Checkout.
* 7 days free when you switch from the free edition and have not paid for anything
  with Consile before.
* No free trial when an organization that already pays has its subscription
  repriced to the membership.

If there are free days, the dialog says so: *The first 7 days are free, and you can
stop inside the window.*

## The membership under Subscription

Under [Subscription](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/subscription.md), the membership appears as
**Consile Studio** with the monthly amount and the figures the amount is calculated
from:

* *N billed users*
* *N billed companies*
* *N extra own connectors*, when you have bought some

The figures are the ones Stripe bills. The portal says: *The counts beside the
membership's amount are the ones being billed. They follow the licences given on
Team whenever an administrator changes one, so where the two differ, the billed
count is what you pay.*

## Cancellation and failed payment

* You cancel the membership under [Subscription](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/subscription.md) with
**Cancel**. The portal asks first, and you confirm with **Cancel the
subscription**. The cancellation takes effect from the end of the period. After
that you lose access to the systems the membership covers.
* If a payment does not go through, the membership is paused. The licences are
kept, but give no access until the payment is in place. The saved connections are
kept. See [If a payment fails](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/pricing.md#if-a-payment-fails).

## Worked examples

| Situation | DKK per month | EUR per month |
| - | - | - |
| 1 person and 1 company | 349 DKK | €45 |
| 3 users and 1 company | 349 + 2 × 174.50 = 698 DKK | 45 + 2 × 22.50 = €90 |
| Accountant with 1 user and 20 clients | 349 + 19 × 349 = 6,980 DKK | 45 + 19 × 45 = €900 |
| 10 users and 20 companies | 349 + 9 × 174.50 + 19 × 349 = 8,550.50 DKK | 45 + 9 × 22.50 + 19 × 45 = €1,102.50 |
| 1 user, 1 company and 7 own connectors | 349 + 4 × 49 = 545 DKK | 45 + 4 × 6.50 = €71 |
| 1 user, 3 companies and 10 own connectors | 349 + 2 × 349 + 1 × 49 = 1,096 DKK | 45 + 2 × 45 + 1 × 6.50 = €141.50 |

In the fifth example, 3 own connectors are included, so 4 are bought. In the sixth,
the two extra companies give 6 more, so 9 are included, and 1 is bought.

Compared with single connectors: If you have e-conomic and Shopify with 1 user each,
you pay 299 + 349 = 648 DKK. With the membership it becomes 349 DKK, so the card at
the top of **Overview** suggests the switch. If you have only e-conomic at 299 DKK,
the membership costs more, and you see the **Buy Consile Studio** card at the bottom
instead.
