# Log in to the portal

> Log in to the Consile portal with a login link by email or with your Google or Microsoft account. There is no password.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/portal/log-ind.md)*

The portal at [app.consile.ai](https://app.consile.ai) is where you buy connectors,
connect your systems, manage the team and subscriptions, build own connectors in
Studio and get your MCP addresses. You log in with a login link that you get by
email, or with your Google or Microsoft account. There is no password to remember.

## How to log in

**1. Open the portal**

Go to [app.consile.ai](https://app.consile.ai). The login page is in English by
default.

**2. Choose how to log in**

Type your work email to get a login link, or click *Continue with Google* or
*Continue with Microsoft*, and log in with that account. If a colleague invited
you, use the email address the invitation was sent to.

**3. Open the link in your inbox**

If you chose email, you get an email with a login link. Click it, and you are
logged in. The link can be used only once and expires after a short time.

**4. You are in**

The first time without an invitation, you create a new organization and become
its administrator. A new organization gets
[the free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md) once you have accepted Consile's
terms. You do that the first time you connect or buy a connector. If you were
invited, you join your shared organization as a member. If you are in several
organizations, you choose the one you want to work in. The organization's name
appears at the top right of the portal.

The session lasts 60 minutes. After that, the portal asks you to log in again.

> [!TIP]
>
> You are now on **Overview** (in Danish *Overblik*) with your connectors and next steps.

## Invited by a colleague?

An administrator invites you under **Team** in the portal, and you get an email with
a login link. Click the link, and you log straight into your shared organization as
a **Member**. The invitation does not give you access to the company's connectors by
itself. The administrator gives you access to the connectors you need. If the
administrator sends the invitation again, the link in the first email no longer
works.

> [!WARNING]
>
> If you log in without an invitation, you can end up in a new, empty organization
> that cannot see the company's connectors. Do not buy the connector again there,
> and do not connect the company's systems there. Ask your administrator for an
> invitation, log out, and log in through the link in the invitation. See
> [Team, users and access](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md).

## Language and currency

The portal is shown in English the first time you log in. You switch to Danish with
the globe icon at the top right. The button has no text, but if you hold the mouse
over it, it says *Language and currency* (in Danish **Sprog og valuta**). Click it,
and choose **Dansk** under *Language*.

In the same menu, under **Market**, you choose whether prices are shown and paid in
Danish kroner (**DK · DKK**, default) or in euros (**EU · EUR**). See
[Pricing & payment](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/pricing.md#market-and-currency).

Both choices are remembered in your browser, so in another browser or on another
device you have to choose again. This documentation uses the portal's English
labels.

## Logging in from Claude and ChatGPT

When you add a Consile connector in Claude or ChatGPT, your AI opens Consile's
login. If you are already logged in to the portal in the same browser, Consile uses
that user and organization. If a colleague is logged in to the portal in your
browser, log out of the portal first, so your AI is linked to your own login.
See [Connect Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md) and
[Connect ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> Login is handled by a separate login service, kept apart from your data. See
> [Security & data](https://docs.consile.ai/en/essentials/security-and-data.md) and [GDPR](https://docs.consile.ai/en/essentials/gdpr.md).

You log out by clicking your organization's name at the top right and choosing
**Log out**. This does not remove your connectors or access, only your own login to
the portal in this browser.
