# Connect Ordrestyring

> Give Consile read-only access to Ordrestyring with an API key from Ordrestyring's support. No redirect, one key per agreement.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/connect/forbind-ordrestyring.md)*

You connect Ordrestyring with an API key, not with a login redirect. Ordrestyring
has no self-service for API keys. So you ask their support for the key and paste
it in the portal, where Consile stores it encrypted. Your AI never sees the key
itself.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You must have connected your AI ([Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md) or
> [ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md)) and have an active Ordrestyring
> subscription in the [portal](https://app.consile.ai) first, or have the system
> included in your plan ([the free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md) or
> [the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md)). The key is issued to
> the administrator who owns the agreement in Ordrestyring. In Consile, anyone on
> the team can connect an agreement that is not connected yet. Only an
> administrator can reconnect it or disconnect it. The connection applies to the
> whole company.

## Step 1: Get the API key from Ordrestyring

**1. Log in to Ordrestyring as an administrator**

Log in to Ordrestyring with an administrator user. The key is issued to the
administrator who owns the agreement.

**2. Find your agreement number**

The agreement number is shown at the top right in Ordrestyring. Support uses it
to find your account.

**3. Ask support for the API key**

Write to [support@ordrestyring.dk](mailto:support@ordrestyring.dk), or use the
chat in Ordrestyring, and include the agreement number. You can write, for
example: "I would like to request the API key for our account." The key comes
back by email.

> [!NOTE]
>
> A key belongs to exactly one Ordrestyring agreement (one company). There is no
> company to choose afterwards, because the key decides which data Consile can
> read. If you have several agreements, you need one key per agreement (see
> [Multiple agreements](#multiple-agreements)).

## Step 2: Paste the key in the portal

**1. Open the form in the portal**

Open the Ordrestyring connector in the portal. Click **Connect now** at the top
of the page, or **Connect** next to the agreement on the **Connections** card.
The portal calls each connection to a system an agreement. If you have not
accepted Consile's terms yet, the portal shows them first. A short form opens
with a step-by-step guide at the top and one field. There is no redirect to an
external page.

**2. Paste the key**

| Field | What it is |
| - | - |
| **Ordrestyring API-nøgle** | The key from Ordrestyring's support (shown masked and treated as secret). The form shows this label in Danish. |

Copy the whole key from the email, and paste it in the field. Make sure nothing
else comes along.

**3. Save**

Click **Connect**. The key is encrypted and stored under your account only.

> [!TIP]
>
> The **Ordrestyring is ready** screen shows the connector's address,
> `https://mcp.consile.ai/ordrestyring/mcp`. If you have not already added it
> in your AI, copy it and add it as a custom connector (see
> [Connect Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md)). Click **Go to connector** to
> return to the Ordrestyring page. Under **Overview** in the portal,
> Ordrestyring now shows as **Connected**.

> [!TIP]
>
> The connection is shared by the whole company, so colleagues do not have to
> connect Ordrestyring again. An administrator gives them access under **Team**,
> and each colleague adds the address in their own AI and logs in with their own
> Consile login. See [Team](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md).

## Multiple agreements

Each agreement on the **Connections** card covers one Ordrestyring agreement and
becomes its own named connector in your AI. If you have several Ordrestyring
agreements, do this:

**1. Add an agreement**

Open the Ordrestyring connector in the portal. On the **Connections** card, an
administrator clicks **Add agreement (149.50 kr/mo.)**. The amount is excl. VAT
and is added to the existing subscription.

**2. Connect the new agreement**

When the new agreement is ready (typically after a few seconds), click
**Connect** next to it and paste the other Ordrestyring agreement's API key.

**3. Add the address in your AI**

Each agreement has its own address, for example
`https://mcp.consile.ai/ordrestyring-2/mcp`. Copy it with the copy icon next to
the agreement, and add it as an extra connector in your AI.

The agreements show as **Agreement 1**, **Agreement 2** and so on, not with the
name from Ordrestyring. So note which one belongs to which Ordrestyring agreement.

Under [the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md#one-more-agreement-in-a-system)
there is no button to add an agreement. One more company costs full price under
the membership. Write to [support@consile.dk](mailto:support@consile.dk), and
Consile sets it up.

If an agreement should be removed again, see the section Revoke access below.

## What exactly am I approving?

> **Read access only**
>
> In Ordrestyring, the key gives access to the whole agreement, but Consile only
> uses it for reading. The connector refuses any write request before it is sent
> to Ordrestyring.

> **One agreement per key**
>
> The key gives access to exactly the agreement it was issued for. There is no
> company to choose on a lookup.

> **Encrypted per customer**
>
> The key is stored encrypted with a key that applies only to your own account.
> It is never logged and is only sent to Ordrestyring.

> **Your AI never sees it**
>
> Your AI is never given the key itself. It only receives answers to your
> questions.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Double-check the key.** The **Ordrestyring is ready** screen also shows if the
> key is wrong. A wrong key only shows up at the first lookup. In that case an
> administrator disconnects and reconnects with the right key (see
> [If a lookup fails](#if-a-lookup-fails)).

## Revoke access

* **In the portal:** an administrator clicks the menu (the three dots) next to the
agreement on the **Connections** card and confirms with **Disconnect**. The
stored key for the agreement is then deleted at Consile right away. The
  subscription continues.
* **Remove an agreement:** if you have several agreements, an administrator
chooses **Remove the agreement** in the same menu and confirms with **Remove
agreement**. This deletes the agreement's key at Consile and removes the
agreement from the subscription. If you remove an agreement other than the last
one in the list, the last agreement's connection moves up into the free slot and
takes its address. So check the addresses in your AI afterwards. You remove the
last agreement by cancelling the subscription under **Subscription**.
* **In Ordrestyring:** the key does not expire on its own, and you cannot block it
yourselves. If you want the key invalidated or replaced, contact Ordrestyring's
  support.

## If a lookup fails

* **"ordrestyring is not connected yet. Connect it here: …":** no key has been
stored for this agreement yet, or it has been disconnected. Open the link (it
works for 10 minutes), or connect in the portal as described in step 2, and paste
the key. For an extra agreement, the message says, for example,
  `ordrestyring-2`.
* **"Ordrestyring rejected the API key (Unauthenticated)":** Ordrestyring has
refused the key. Check that the whole key was copied, and that it is the latest
key from support. An administrator disconnects and reconnects with the right
key. An administrator can also ask your AI on the agreement's address for a new
connection link. It opens the form for exactly that agreement, and the new key
  replaces the old one.
* **"Ordrestyring rate limit hit":** Ordrestyring temporarily limits the number of
calls. Wait a moment, and ask again.
* **"Ordrestyring rejected the request: …":** Ordrestyring has refused an
argument, for example a case id that does not exist. Ask your AI to find the case
  with `find_cases` first.
* **"Tool invocation failed.":** the general error for everything else, for
example an invalid argument, a refused write request, a response that is too
large, or a start date after the end date. It also appears if Ordrestyring does not
answer in time. Narrow the question, and try again.
* If it keeps happening, contact [support@consile.dk](mailto:support@consile.dk)
with the time and the question you asked.
