# Connect Dinero

> Approve the Consile app via Visma Connect: read-only, renewed automatically and can be revoked. Requires Dinero Pro.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/connect/forbind-dinero.md)*

You connect Dinero by logging in via **Visma Connect** (Dinero's login service) and
approving the Consile app for your Dinero account. Consile stores the resulting
access encrypted per customer. Your AI never sees the access itself.

> [!NOTE]
>
> You need an active Dinero subscription in the [portal](https://app.consile.ai)
> first, or Dinero must be included in your plan
> ([the free edition](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/free-edition.md) or
> [the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md)). You must be able to log
> in to a Visma/Dinero account with **Dinero Pro** and access to the organization
> you want to connect. Anyone on the team can connect an agreement that is not
> connected yet. Only an administrator can reconnect it or disconnect it. The
> connection applies to the whole company. Your AI
> ([Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md) or [ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md))
> can be added before or after.

## How to connect

**1. Open the connector in the portal**

Open the Dinero connector in the portal. It shows as **Not connected**. Click
**Connect now** at the top of the page, or **Connect** next to the agreement on
the **Connections** card. The portal calls each connection to the system an
agreement. If you have not accepted Consile's terms yet, you are asked to do so
first. In the **Connect Visma** step you can see that Consile asks for read
access (`dineropublicapi:read`). Click **Authorise access**, and you are sent
to Visma Connect's own approval page.

**2. Log in via Visma Connect**

Log in to the Visma/Dinero account that has access to the organization. The
access follows the user you approve with, and covers the organizations that
user can see.

**3. Approve read-only access**

Visma shows that the Consile app is asking for read access to Dinero
(`dineropublicapi:read`) plus `offline_access`, so the connection can be
renewed automatically. Confirm to continue. You are then sent back to the
portal automatically.

> [!TIP]
>
> The portal shows **Dinero is connected**, and your AI can read the accounts.
> If you have not already added the address
> `https://mcp.consile.ai/dinero/mcp` in your AI, do it now (see
> [Connect Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md)).

**4. Lock the connection to one organization (optional)**

The page also shows *The key reaches several companies. Choose the one this
connection should be locked to, and every call keeps to it.* If you want your
AI to work in only one organization on this agreement, click **Choose
company**. Choose the organization under *Choose organisation*, and click
**Lock to this company**. This requires an administrator. The list also shows
organizations without Dinero Pro, but your AI cannot read those.

If you do not want to lock, click **Go to connector**. Your AI then chooses the
organization per question. See
[Lock a connection to one company](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md).

> [!WARNING]
>
> If you instead see **Connection was not completed**, the approval was
> interrupted, the session expired, or Visma did not grant exactly the read access
> Consile asks for. Click **Try again** to get back to the connector's page, and
> start over with **Connect now** or **Connect**. Approve the read access at
> Visma.

> [!TIP]
>
> The connection is shared by the whole company, so colleagues do not have to
> connect Dinero again. An administrator gives them access under **Team**, and each
> colleague adds the address in their own AI and logs in with their own Consile
> login. Everyone reads through the Visma login that is connected, and so sees the
> same organizations, unless the agreement is locked to one. See
> [Team](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md).

## Multiple Visma logins and organizations

One agreement covers all the organizations the Visma login can see. There are two
reasons to add another agreement:

* **Another Visma login.** Connect the new agreement with the other login.
* **One organization per agreement.** For example, if you are an accountant with
one login that has access to several clients' organizations, connect each
agreement with the same login, and lock each agreement to its own organization. Then each
client has its own address in your AI, and your AI only reaches the organization
the agreement is locked to. An organization can only be locked on one agreement
  at a time.

**1. Add an agreement**

Open the Dinero connector in the portal. On the **Connections** card, an
administrator clicks **Add agreement (149.50 kr/mo.)**. The agreement is added
to the existing subscription and charged pro rata for the rest of the period.

**2. Connect the agreement**

When the new agreement is ready (typically after a few seconds), click
**Connect** next to it and complete the steps above with the Visma login the
agreement should use. If the agreement should apply to one organization, lock
it afterwards.

**3. Add the address in your AI**

Each agreement has its own address, for example
`https://mcp.consile.ai/dinero-2/mcp`. Copy it from the card, and add it as an
extra connector in your AI.

When a Visma login only reaches one organization, the agreement gets the
organization's name. Otherwise the agreements show as **Agreement 1**,
**Agreement 2** and so on. If an agreement is locked, *Locked to
\<organization>* appears under the name. If you connect the same Visma login
in two agreements without locking them, it does not give access to more data, but
costs an extra agreement. Under
[the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md#one-more-agreement-in-a-system)
there is no button to add an agreement. Instead the card says *The membership
covers this system. One more company costs full price under the membership, and we
will set it up for you if you write to us.*

An administrator removes an agreement with the menu next to it: choose **Remove
the agreement**, and confirm with **Remove agreement**. After you have removed an
agreement, the last agreement may have got a new address (for example
`https://mcp.consile.ai/dinero-2/mcp` instead of
`https://mcp.consile.ai/dinero-3/mcp`). If it was locked, the organization must be
chosen again before it answers. So check the addresses on the **Connections**
card, and update them in your AI's connector setup. You remove the last agreement
by cancelling the subscription under **Subscription**.

## What exactly am I approving?

> **Read access only**
>
> Consile only asks for `dineropublicapi:read` (reading) plus `offline_access`
> (so the access can be renewed automatically). Consile does not ask for write
> access and does not accept it either: if the approval tries to grant write
> access, the connection is refused. Consile can never post, create or change
> anything in Dinero.

> **Dinero only**
>
> The approval applies to Dinero, not to other Visma products. Without a lock,
> your AI chooses the right organization per question among the Pro organizations
> your account can see. An administrator can lock the connection to one
> organization.

> **Encrypted per customer**
>
> The access is stored encrypted with a key that applies only to your account,
> and is never logged. It is renewed automatically in the background.

> **Your AI never sees it**
>
> Your AI is never given the access itself. It only receives answers to your
> questions.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Dinero Pro is required.** Dinero's API only works for organizations on Dinero
> Pro. If an organization does not have Pro, it cannot be read (Dinero answers with
> an error on everything except the organization list itself).

## Revoke access

You can remove the access again at any time:

* **In the portal:** an administrator clicks the menu (the three dots) next to the
agreement on the **Connections** card, chooses **Disconnect** and confirms with
**Disconnect**. The stored access is then deleted at Consile, Consile's access
stops right away, and any lock disappears. The subscription continues. If the
payment should stop, an administrator cancels the subscription under
**Subscription**. If you have several agreements, an administrator can also
remove an agreement entirely with **Remove the agreement**. Its access is then
  deleted too.
* **At Visma/Dinero:** when you disconnect in the portal, Consile does not revoke
the approval at Visma. If you want to be completely sure that the issued access
is also withdrawn at Visma, revoke the Consile app's access under your
Visma/Dinero account's app or integration settings. After that, the connector
  stops working in any case.

## Reconnect

If you are unsure whether the access still works, ask your AI to check the
connection with `dinero__validate_connection`. If the call succeeds, the access is
valid. If it answers with a message that Dinero must be reconnected ("reconnect
required"), an administrator must reconnect Dinero. The portal can still show
**Connected**, even if the access has been revoked at Visma.

* If the agreement says **Access revoked**, click **Reconnect**, and follow the
  steps above.
* Otherwise: disconnect as described above, and then click **Connect**.
* You can also ask your AI for a new connection link. Ask in the connector that
belongs to the agreement (for example `dinero-2`), so the link connects exactly
  that agreement.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If the agreement was locked to one organization, the organization must be chosen
> again after you have reconnected. After **Reconnect** or a link from your AI,
> Consile refuses all calls on the agreement until an administrator has chosen it.
> If you disconnected first, the lock is gone, and your AI can reach all of the
> login's organizations until the organization has been chosen again. See
> [After a new connection](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md#after-a-new-connection).
