# After purchase & connection

> What you see in the portal right after a purchase or a connection, what the statuses mean, and what to do if something does not work.

*[Læs siden på dansk](https://docs.consile.ai/connect/efter-koeb-og-forbindelse.md)*

Purchases and connections go through an external party (Stripe or the provider of
your system), so the portal waits briefly for a confirmation before the connector is
ready. It normally takes a few seconds. Here is what you can expect.

## Right after a purchase

When you have paid at Stripe, you land on the **Activating your subscription…** page
while the portal waits for Stripe's confirmation. Then it says **Subscription
activated**. Here you can copy the connector's address for your AI and click the
button with the connector's name (for example **Connect e-conomic**), which takes you
to the connector's page. If you have bought
[the Consile Studio membership](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/membership.md), it says **The membership is
active** instead, and the **See the systems** button takes you to the
**Connectors** page.

If you cancel at Stripe, you land on **No payment completed**, and nothing has been
charged. Every purchase of a connector starts with a free trial of 7 days, and the
first amount is charged when the free trial ends. See [Pricing](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/pricing.md).

**1. Activation takes more than a few seconds**

If it says *Activation can take a moment*, the subscription is being activated
in the background. Wait a little, and reload the page.

**2. Still nothing after a minute?**

Check under [Subscription](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/subscription.md) whether the connector is
listed under **Active subscriptions**. If it is, but it is not listed under **My
connectors** on the **Connectors** page, reload the portal.

> [!NOTE]
>
> CVR does not need to be connected. As soon as Stripe has confirmed the purchase,
> CVR shows as **Connected**, and you can add `https://mcp.consile.ai/cvr/mcp` in
> your AI right away. The **Connect CVR** button on the **Subscription activated**
> page just takes you to the connector's page.

## The connector's page after the purchase

Once the connector is bought, you find the practical details on its page in the
portal:

* **Add it to your AI assistant**: the connector's own address (for example
`https://mcp.consile.ai/gsc/mcp`) with a button to copy it and a short guide for
Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Grok and local AI clients. Under Claude there is also the
command for Claude Code. See [Connect Claude](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-claude.md) and
  [Connect ChatGPT](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-chatgpt.md).
* The **Connect now** button at the top of the page, until the account is connected.
The **Usage** card shows the number of calls this month.
* The **Connections** card with a row for each agreement. The portal calls each
connection to the system an agreement; each agreement is one connected account.
Each agreement has its own address, a button to copy it and the **Connect**
button, until it is connected. On the connectors that can have several agreements
(all except CVR and HubSpot Marketing Email), an administrator adds one more
agreement with **Add agreement**. The button shows the price, for example **Add
agreement (149.50 kr/mo.)**. An extra Shopify store cannot be connected that way
today, so write to [support@consile.dk](mailto:support@consile.dk) for an extra
store before you add an agreement. See
  [Extra agreements](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/buy-a-connector.md#extra-agreements).
* In the menu (the three dots) next to an agreement, an administrator can choose
**Disconnect** or **Remove the agreement**. A member sees *Only a team
administrator can disconnect or remove an agreement.* instead.
* For e-conomic: the **Use in Microsoft 365 Copilot** card with an app package for
Copilot. It is a pilot. See
  [Connect Microsoft 365 Copilot](https://docs.consile.ai/en/connect/connect-microsoft-copilot.md).

> [!NOTE]
>
> The person who buys the connector automatically gets access to it. The first user
> is included in the price. Colleagues need access under [Team](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md)
> before their AI can use the connector, and each extra user costs 50% of the
> connector's monthly price. Each colleague adds the connector in their own AI
> themselves and logs in with their own Consile login.

## Right after a connection

When you have approved at the provider, you land on **Connecting…** while the portal
confirms the connection. Then it says, for example, **Google Search Console is
connected**, and you can click **Go to connector**. If it says that it is taking a
little longer than normal, the connection is completed in the background. Reload in a
moment.

### Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Dinero and Business Central

In these five systems, one connection can reach several companies. That is why the
page offers to lock the connection to one company:

* The page also says *The key reaches several companies. Choose the one this
connection should be locked to, and every call keeps to it.* The main button is
**Choose company**, and **Go to connector** is next to it. The lock is optional,
and your AI can use the connector right away, also without a lock.
* If you have connected an agreement again that was locked, the page says *The
connection was renewed, so the company has to be chosen again before your AI
assistant can use it. Choose the same company to carry on with it.* instead. Until
the company has been chosen again, Consile refuses every call on the agreement.

Only an administrator can choose the company. If a member clicks **Choose
company**, the portal shows *An administrator can choose the company.* See
[Lock a connection to one company](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md).

In Business Central and Dinero, the page can also show a note when the account is
already connected on another agreement. That happens in Business Central when both
agreements are in the same Microsoft tenant, and in Dinero when the Visma login only
reaches one organization. Both agreements keep their connection, and the page says:

> *Note: The same account is already connected as another portal, and that portal is confined to one company, so we left it alone. This portal is connected and works, but stays unnamed in the list because the two portals share an account.*

The word portal here means agreement, and the message also appears when the other
agreement is not locked. The new agreement works and shows as, for example,
**Agreement 2** on the **Connections** card.

### Connectors with a form

Connectors that are connected with a form (Uniconta, Billy and Ordrestyring) do not
send you anywhere. Instead the window shows, for example, **Billy is ready** with the
connector's address and the **Go to connector** button.

### How long the access lasts

Afterwards the agreement shows as **Connected**. This is how each connector is
connected, and how long the access lasts:

| Connector | How it is connected | The access afterwards |
| - | - | - |
| Google Search Console | Google login and approval | Renewed automatically |
| e-conomic | Approval of the Consile app in e-conomic as Superuser | Does not expire. Applies until it is revoked in e-conomic |
| Dinero | Visma login and approval (requires Dinero Pro) | Renewed automatically |
| Uniconta | Login ID and password for a Uniconta server user plus Company ID, entered in the portal | Applies until the login is changed in Uniconta |
| Billy | Access token from Billy, pasted into the portal | Does not expire |
| Ordrestyring | API key from Ordrestyring's support, pasted into the portal | Does not expire |
| Business Central (early access) | Microsoft login with a work account and approval | Renewed automatically |
| Shopify | Store domain, Shopify login and approval | Renewed automatically |
| HubSpot CMS | HubSpot login and approval | Renewed automatically |
| HubSpot Marketing Email | HubSpot login and approval | Renewed automatically |
| LinkedIn Ads | LinkedIn login and approval | Renewed automatically |
| Meta Ads | Meta login (Facebook) and approval | About 60 days. After that you usually need to connect again |
| CVR | Nothing to connect | Works as long as the subscription is active |

Check the details in the forms (Uniconta, Billy and Ordrestyring) before you click
**Connect**. If they are wrong, the connector answers that they have been refused the
first time your AI uses it. See
[If the connection stops working](#if-the-connection-stops-working).

> [!NOTE]
>
> LinkedIn Ads: the advertising features (campaigns, creatives, reporting, audiences,
> conversions and lead forms) work today. The 8 write tools for organic content and
> the 14 read tools for Company Page, posts and your own profile are not available
> yet. Calls to them fail with the general error `Tool invocation failed.`

## Statuses in the portal

| Status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Not active** | The connector has not been bought, or the subscription is paused because a payment has failed. If it is a failed payment, do not buy the connector again. When the payment goes through, the connector works again without a new connection. See [Pricing](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/pricing.md#if-a-payment-fails) |
| **Not connected** | Bought, but the account is not connected yet. **Overview** shows *\<connector> is not connected* with the **Connect now** button |
| **Connected** | Bought and connected. Your AI can use the connector |
| **Access revoked** | The system refuses Consile's access. **Overview** shows *\<connector>: access has been revoked* with the **Connect again** button. An administrator must connect again |
| **Coming soon** | Announced, but cannot be bought yet |

The status applies to the whole organization. It shows whether the organization has
bought and connected the connector, not whether you have access to it yourself. If an
administrator has not given you access under [Team](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/team.md), the connector
still shows as **Connected**, but your AI cannot use its tools.

For Google Search Console, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Dinero and Business Central, there
is also a line under each connected agreement on the **Connections** card:

| Line | Meaning |
| - | - |
| *No company chosen* | The connection is not locked. This is not an error: the lock is optional, and your AI chooses the company in each call |
| *Locked to \<name>* | Every call keeps to that company |
| *Choose the company again* | The connection has been renewed. Every call is refused until an administrator has chosen the company again |

See [Lock a connection to one company](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md).

## If a connection fails

If something goes wrong during the approval, or you cancel along the way, you land
on the **Connection was not completed** page. Under *Technical reason* there is a
code. Click **Try again** to get back to the connector's page, and start over with
**Connect now** or **Connect**.

| Code | Likely cause and what to do |
| - | - |
| `state_expired`, `invalid_state` or `state_unknown_or_consumed` | The approval took more than 10 minutes, or the link had already been used. A connection link can only be used once. Start over in the portal |
| `unexpected_scope` | A permission was deselected in the provider's approval window. Try again, and accept all permissions |
| `no_refresh_token` | The provider did not give the lasting access the connection requires. Try again, and accept all permissions |
| `token_exchange_failed` | The provider refused the approval. Try again, and contact support if it keeps happening |
| `client_not_approved` or `state_binding_mismatch` | The approval could not be linked to your session in the portal. Start over in the portal |
| `redirect_uri_mismatch` | A setup error at Consile. Contact support |
| `unknown` | Another error. With Meta Ads it happens, for example, if you deselect one of the permissions. Try again, and contact support with the time if it keeps happening |

## If the connection stops working

The status **Connected** means that Consile has stored access. If Consile discovers
that the provider refuses the access, the agreement changes to **Access revoked**.
Until then the connector can still show as **Connected**, even though your AI's calls
fail. Usually the connector answers that the provider has refused the access and
that it must be connected again (*reconnect required*).

Only an administrator can connect an agreement again. This is how you do it:

* If the agreement shows **Access revoked**, click **Reconnect**, and complete the
  connection.
* Otherwise: click the menu (the three dots) next to the agreement on the
**Connections** card, choose **Disconnect**, and confirm with **Disconnect**. That
only deletes the stored access at Consile, and the subscription continues. Then
click **Connect**, and complete the connection again.
* You can also ask your AI to connect the account again. It gives you a link, and
the new access replaces the old one. If the connector has several agreements, ask
in the connector that belongs to the agreement (for example `gsc-2`), so the link
connects that particular agreement. This does not apply to Shopify.

Disconnecting applies to the whole organization, so colleagues cannot use the
agreement until it is connected again. If the agreement was locked to one company,
the company must be chosen again afterwards. See
[After a new connection](https://docs.consile.ai/en/portal/company-lock.md#after-a-new-connection).

| What you see | Cause and solution |
| - | - |
| Meta Ads answers that the access has expired and must be connected again | The access at Meta lasts about 60 days. Connect again as described above |
| e-conomic answers that the access has been refused and must be connected again (*reconnect required*) | The access has been revoked in e-conomic. Connect again |
| Uniconta or Billy answers right from the start that the login or access token has been refused | The details are wrong. Connect again with the correct details |
| Ordrestyring answers that the API key has been refused | The key is wrong or invalid. Connect again with the key from Ordrestyring's support |
| LinkedIn tools for Company Page or organic content fail | This is not an error in the connection. Those tools are not available yet. The advertising features are not affected |
| Your AI gets the message *"This connection is locked to …, but its credential has been replaced …"* | The agreement was connected again after it was locked. An administrator chooses the company again on the connector's page |
| The calls fail after you have changed your password or removed Consile at the provider | Connect again |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Meta Ads: expect to connect again about every 60 days. Consile sends no reminder
> before the access expires.
